FLUSH had our first in-person event in over 2 years on November 19, 2021 for World Toilet Day! Our event was a paint & sip that our friends at the Brooklyn Brainery hosted.
Because of COVID-19 restrictions, we had an intimate crowd of budding artists and toilet enthusiasts join us for the event. FLUSH had commissioned artist Rocky Charles to make us an incredible piece of art for us to try painting - a Looniverse!
We also had author Lina Zeldovich join us and talk about her new book, The Other Dark Matter, which came out on the day. She shared fascinating stories from her book, including a few Asia history tales about poo theft and laws mandating poo collection for farming.
